Thank you for taking the time to read our Privacy Policy and for visiting Hirexpert. Hirexpert is a community network that was made with the goal of giving everyone employment opportunities. We want to make the world a more fair place, so we give candidates and companies the chance to meet on the world's best platform for recruiting people from diverse backgrounds.
This Privacy Policy explains how Hirexpert and its affiliates (collectively, "Company", "we", and "us") may collect, process, share, and/or use information about an identified or identifiable natural person's ("you" and "your") personal information ("Personal Data"), including information from:
This Privacy Policy applies to Personal Data that you give us through our website www.hirexpert.co (the "Site"), mobile apps, events, and/or any communications, including email subscriptions (collectively, our "Platform").
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information you give to one of our employer partners ("Employers"), to other Company Members, to applications or services that Company does not own or run, or to entities that integrate with Company using the Company Application Programming Interface ("API"). If you applied for a job with an Employer, the Employer may send your information straight to the Company so they can use the Company's services to manage their recruiting. We'll use the information in a way that meets the terms of our contract with that Employer. Your deal with that Employer should say how they share your information with the Company. If you have questions about this sharing, please get in touch with the Employer. We are not in charge of how other website owners handle your privacy when you link to them from our site.
Company is committed to keeping your Personal Data private and safe and keeping an eye on government rules. We are committed to following data privacy rules like GDPR and CCPA when it comes to the collection, processing, use, and storage of data that falls under their jurisdiction.
When you use our Platform, you can choose to give us different kinds of Personal Data. For instance:
We get information from your profile, like your resume, social media links, personal biographical data, and comments you post in group chats or on bulletin boards.
When you reply to Company emails or surveys, we collect your email address, name, and any other information you choose to include in the body of your email or response. If you call us, we'll keep track of the number you use to call us.
You can also send us information in other ways, such as:
Our websites work well because they use cookies and other tools. These technologies record information about how you use our websites, such as your IP address, location, device type, operating system, Internet browser type, screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, plug-ins, add-ons, and the language version of the Sites you are visiting.
Information about how you use our websites, such as how long you spend on them, the pages you visit, the links you click, the language you prefer, and the pages that led you to our websites.
We also keep track of what you do on websites and linked devices over time, as well as what you do on third-party websites, devices, apps, and other online features and services. We use Google Analytics on our websites to help us figure out how you use them and figure out what's wrong with them if there are any technical problems.
Check out our Cookie Policy to learn more about the cookies that may be served on our sites and how you can control how we use cookies and third-party data.
You could add information to your Company Member profile that could be considered "sensitive" based on where you live. For example, when you sign up for a Company account, we ask you to tell us about your race and ethnicity. You don't have to give us this information to be a Member of a Company, but if you do, it will help you get more out of our services and make it easier for Employers who use our services to find you. You can choose whether or not to share this private information, but if you do, please keep in mind that it will be added to your Company profile.
We make deals with Employers who use the services of the Company. These Employers may share Personal Information about people who have applied for a job with their company ("Applicant"). Applicants do not have to follow this Privacy Policy. We suggest that you read the organization's terms of service and privacy policy to learn more about your rights. If you are an Applicant, you can choose to become a Member by making a profile that can include the personal information your Employer gave you.
We use your personal information in a legal way. We use Personal Data to make it easier for us to do business with Members and to follow our legitimate business goals.
For instance:
We use Personal Data to provide you with services from the Company. For example, we use Personal Data to set up and handle your Company account and to share your profile with an Employer who uses the Company platform for recruiting purposes.
We may send you marketing emails about the products and services of the Company, invite you to our events or surveys, or contact you in other ways for marketing reasons, as long as we get your permission to do so in accordance with the law. For example, if we meet you at trade shows or other events and get your business contact information, we might use it to follow up with you about the event, send you information you asked for about our products and services, and, if you agree, add you to our marketing information campaigns.
When you use our Sites, we (and our service providers) may use the Personal Data we collect from you and your device to show you ads for Company services on our Sites and other websites you visit ("interest-based advertising"), where the law allows it. For example, when you visit our site, we'll use cookies to figure out what kind of device you're using and show you ads for our services on that device. You can choose what cookies (or similar technologies) we use to advertise to you and how we use them. To learn more, please look at our Cookie Policy. At the moment, there is no industry standard for recognising Do Not Track browser signals, so we do not listen to them.
We don't share, rent, or sell personal information about our members to make ads based on their interests.

We require such service providers to contractually commit to protect the security and confidentiality of Personal Data they process on our behalf.
We share Personal Data with business partners when this is necessary to provide our services to you.

In the event that we enter into, or intend to enter into, a transaction that alters the structure of our business, such as a reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, change of control, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock, we may share Personal Data with third parties in connection with such transaction. Any other entity which buys us or part of our business will have the right to continue to use your Personal Data, but only in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy unless you agree otherwise.
We share Personal Data as we believe necessary:
